Belfast is named the UK’s sex-toy capital… but where does YOUR city come in the list?
Belfast has been named the UK’s sex toy hotspot, according to new research by Mr & Mrs Toy (Picture posed by models)
Edinburgh came top in Scotland with 57 percent buying an X-rated trinket, leaving the city fourth overall in Britain, compared to only 47 percent in Glasgow.
Liverpool ranked rock bottom with just 39 percent in the city admitting to owning a sex toy.
More than 2,000 men and women took part in the research, which was conducted by Mr & Mrs Toy, makers of the award-winning O-WAND.
Of those who did admit to owning sexy bedroom tools, many had more than one – in Belfast a third said they owned at least two vibrators and nearly three percent had five or more.
Shockingly, more than half of British women claim they get more satisfaction from their sex toy than their partner.
Male respondents admitted to masturbating more than three times a week, with females at it twice a week on average.

Women are most likely to masturbate with a sex toy (33%) compared to just one in eight of their male counterparts (12%).
Gordon Goodall, Director of Mr & Mrs Toy, commented: “It’s great to see that people up and down the country are spicing up their sex lives.
“It’s a topic that is not often spoken about but it’s very important in people’s lives and it’s time we were more open.”
